Thirsty Thursdays: Dale's Pale Ale

It keeps getting better and better! From the makers of Old Chub and Gordon Beer, comes yet another Huge Voluminously Hopped Mutha of a Pale Ale in a can from Oskar Blues Brewery! You can read the story of Dale's Pale Ale and how it came to be but I am telling you I think I have found the mother lode in the portable beer market. By portable, I mean it has persatives that keep it alive when warm, as opposed to my Lieblings Bier, BBC, which cannot. If you like hoppy ales, then this is your new friend.

On the Pale Ale Scale it's somewhere between BBC's Lost Sailor India Pale Ale and Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale. I am sure there are more Pale Ales in which to compare it to. It doesn't pack as much punch as Old Chub and Gordon, weighing in at a mere 6.5% abv, but what that means for you is that you enjoy more than two without worrying on whether you be fit to drive after a few Old Chubs or Gordons.
