Elliot and the Great Stride Race

The Great Race:  STRIDE's biggest event to showcase special athlete skills in skiing and riding. Over 80 racers of all ages and ability levels from our Northeast region come to compete at Jiminy Peak’s Level I sanctioned Race Course annually. Division categories include Mono and bi-skiers (seated); three-track; four-track; visually impaired and blind skiers; adaptive snowboarders; and cognitively impaired racers of all ages. Friends and family line the race course, ring cow bells and cheer for every racer. STRIDE instructors from our three mountain programs came together to coach the racers, as every one of them negotiates the course and is celebrated in the awards ceremony.
