Can you say LAH-GOO-KNEE-TUS? Hop Stoopid Ale is a pretty hoppy ale if you didn't already deduce that from the label, however, as far as ale's go I wasn't particularly impressed. All the fancy wording and packaging is quickly forgotten when you start drinking this bad boy because where it lacks in finess it makes up for it in ABV. A nice 8% and after the first 16 oz the weaknesses are quickly forgotten.
Is that the new trend? You handcraft an ale but if the concoction comes out crappy, you hide it with a higher alcohol content so that we can't tell?
