It is COLDER in the Mountains!

Killington likes to boast that it's cooler in the mountains, especially during the summer, and it's usually 5 to 10 degrees cooler, sometimes even more than what you get in Rutland. Today was no exception.  

Ann & put on jackets today.

When the sun was behind the clouds it was freezing.

After crossing over the Snowshed slope, you cross under the mountain coaster and then you pop out on Yodler and there is this great view looking north west.

 

Leaves on this one tree are already turning.

Ann suggested that I take a run or two on Ramshead.

If it was a clearer day you could probably see the Rockpile.

The first run I took was on Side Show Bob

and I was not ready for that! There were table tops every 50 yards and I am not a jumper. 

I took another run on Blue Magic and it too was table top city.  

After this run I decided it was time for a full face helmet.
