New cockpit set up on the Wabash. I put one of my Cannondale Casey Handlebar Bags on the front of the bike and went to a fork mounted headlight to replace the Magic Shine light that didn't live up to it's specs.
Another beautiful morning to be riding to work.
I had to keep turning it back on, manually. I stopped after crossing over the Merritt Parkway, opened the battery compartment and closed it tightly but that didn't seem to help. The door to the compartment was pretty tight.
A friend of mine purchased a Wabash, too, and learned that the cable that connects to the mount for the battery can be faulty or become that way if you pull out the battery often. That's how I was recharging the battery when I got to the office. I would pull it out, bring it up to my desk, plug in the charger and then put it back in the bike. I ended up taking the bike back to Rutland City Bikes where it sat for 6 months waiting for a part to come in. Once it did and JT fixed it I never had a problem again. Of course, I never take it out of the compartment to charge it now.
