Night Riding with Ann

Ann got back from work and wanted to ride and who am I to say no to that, even after riding a 40 mile gravel grinder earlier in the day.  The sun had already set and the temperature was perfect.

Ring Camera shot as we were leaving Ann's house

We headed out on Dorr Drive and it was the first time we both got to test out our helmet lamps.  Ann has a CatEye 900 lumens, and I have a Lenzyne 1000 lumens.  I bought mine for mountain bike night riding which I have yet to do.

The moon was nearly full this evening as we rode by the cows.

Rather than ride to Wallingford like we usually do when riding down Creek Road we turned East on Walker Mountain Road and rode over to Middle Road.

While on Middle Road I tested the different settings on my head lamp.  At the intersection with Alfrecha Road, we turned onto it and headed back to Creek Road.

Angler Pub was looking inviting tonight but we had to get up early the next morning and couldn't stop in.

Ring camera of our return.
