Ann & I headed up to Killington to take a few downhill laps. It was a lot cooler in the mountains compared to Rutland so it was an easy decision to make for a summer afternoon activity.
We took a warm up run and then on the second run pre-empted our route and rode over to the K1 to go to the top of the mountain.
As we ascended the mountain the clouds started to roll in
At the top it was drizzling - how bad could it get? We thought.
It got bad as the rain really started to come down
It was torrential
We went through this one technical section and it was awful
I rode most of it
and Ann cleaned it!
We were soaked and really glad we rode to the mountain from the condo.
