Ann & I were running late Sunday morning and missed first chair by 15 minutes but we still got some decent parking. Superstar was mostly groomed and it looked like it was going to be a great day of spring skiing.
I was tempted to wear my lederhosen because it was 47 degrees when we got to Killington but then opted not to because unless there are no clouds invariably the sun will disappear and it will get cold. So it was Shells and T-Shirts for the both of use.
Superstar was looking nice. First couple of runs were mogul free and the snow had the consistency of mash potatoes. As the morning wore on, some ice started to appear as the snow was pushed off into moguls.
By 9:15 AM the weather started to change. Clouds came in and visibility was diminishing. We kept at it till we got 10 runs (10 before 10). It looked like it was raining at the top of Superstar as we were putting our skis in the truck.
