Riding with the Doggo

Ann & I took Kai in the trailer today down to Wallingford and he was a little more work than the last time. He was whining a lot more this time, especially if he couldn't see Ann.

After quite a bit of whining we finally stopped and let him walk around, on the leash of course, and he pooped and peed.

We stopped at Sweet Birch and Ann hung out in the parking lot with Kai while I went inside to get the goods. Ann had her favorite Pumpkin spiced latte and a ham and cheese croissant.

I had black coffee and this Pecan Maple bar that was OFS!

Kai got a treat, too, but I had to hold his Kog so he could lick the peanut butter.

It's fall in Vermont and its time to break out the sweaters! It was 55 degrees and I wore gloves and a neckie. Never got cold nor too warm. I even brought a vest for just in case.

On the way out of Wallingford Kai got a little anxious and tried crawling out of the front of the carrier. I stopped to push him back in, right in front of a house that has a miniature collie that went bonkers when he saw Kai. Kai went bonkers as well. Ann had to untangle him and then carry him up to the next house while I brought the bikes and then we were able to get him back in the trailer so we could start riding again.

Ann & I are thinking about removing the canvas of the trailer altogether and just lashing as plastic pet carrier on the frame. We could put a basket on top and bring breakfast with us the next time we head out.
