Getting Fat at PHP

It's been a month since I was last at Pine Hill Park and after doing work around Ann's house in the morning, making some adjustments to the bike shed I rode out to PHP and the first thing I noticed was the new sign.

I climbed up Svelte Tiger and have come to the conclusion that between ST & Furlough, ST is the easier of the two to get up to the other trails. I took Sore Elbow to Droopy Muffin to Underdog this time around and it was a fun climb up to this view of Pittsford. The fat bike felt really good, too.

I rode Shimmer to Overlook and stopped at the bench at the rock jumble overlooking Rocky Pond and got a good view of Blue Ridge Mountain.

Then I continued on Overlook.

Went over the suspension bridge and then tried to ride up the Root Ride

but found that it's probably a better ride down.

I caught just the end of my arch nemesis, Stegosaurus, and then headed up Strong Angel. That is a great trail.

Then I headed out on Furlough and rode back to Ann's.

Post ride libation!
