OOF on the 4th of July

Ann & I got out before 7 AM on Saturday and rode from Sandy Hook to Ovens of France (aka OOF) in Woodbury.

We went out so early to beat the heat and it was worth it.

We rode the Newtown Lunartics Flat OOF Loop, only in the other direction. It was so early there were barely any cars on the roads, including Route 6.

We were surprised to find Ovens of France open.

We had Ham & Cheese Croissants. They are the best I have had.

By 9 AM it started to get hot and we were feeling its effects.

Southbury side of the Rochambeau Path was nicely cut.
Wish they would do that on the Newtown side.

We rode down to the pavilion and back to round out our distance and saw there was a boat already parked at the sandbar.
