Sunrise in Southbury

Saturday afternoon, Ann & I drove to Connecticut, after we rode down to Wallingford from Rutland. The following morning we were both up really early so we headed out at 5:30 AM for a ride to Ovens of France in Woodbury.

The Rochambeau path is really nice now after I cleaned up all the glass. That glass, I believe, contributed to a tire puncture I had resulting having to get new tires for the Synapse.

We took our usual route, up Rt 172 to Transylvania Road, past Radey Pond, and then instead of continuing up to the center of Woodbury we took Bear Hills to Rt 317, and then Rt 202 to Ovens of France and got there at 6:30 AM. Earliest I have been to OOF in quite some time.

We both got Ham & Cheese Croissants.

Since it was early enough we rode down Rt 202 and there was hardly any traffic going in our direction.

Then we were back over the Rochambeau Path and back to the house by 7:30 AM!
