Due to a midday appointment, I was working from home today and as I was 30 minutes into something I had to get done the Internet goes out! I called my Internet Provider and they gave me an 11 AM ETA so with nothing better to do, I went for a bike ride.
My new Garmin Edge 850 wasn't behaving well today. I switched my display settings from backlight, always on, and Auto Brightness to the 15 seconds setting and it went dark.
Played around with the settings some more and it was still wasn’t working to the way I am used to on the Edge 1030 Plus.
After trying a bunch of different settings while trying to ride I settled for Backlight Always On, Auto Brightness Off, and manually set the brightness to 30%.
No cows on this ride but there were some horses
Ground scored this boat fender but I need to go back and get it because I couldn’t carry it.
Trying to stay away from busy roads I took West Street back to the Flag Pole.
One last kick in the teeth from Garmin. Climb Pro shows a descent as a climb? WTF? When I got home the internet was back and I had to back to work.
