Aw ...

On a recent ski trip out west I was off the plane and on the mountain in an hour. It was really cool to know that I had been up since 3:30 that morning and now I was at 7,000 feet and skiing. Looking down at town of Jackson I realized that it was laid out in a grid pattern and then I had an epiphany!

I have always wanted to spell out a word that would show up on my Strava as such.  Two days later I rented a fat bike with the intention of riding in the snow but had to ride to the trail head first and the route to get there took me through the center of Jackson.  The first word I wanted to spell out wouldn't work because I couldn't figure how to make one of the letters, which was a "K."

I rented a Salsa Mukluk from Fitzgeralds bike shop and rode from the shop to the starting point of the word I wanted to spell out. Along the way I found this PBR flag hanging in the window of a beer distributor so I thought I would take a picture of two of my favorite things.  Then I started riding the route I laid out in RWGPS and voila! Or should I say, Aw ....
